Historic Medina, Ohio, is the home of Life Care Center of Medina. With a historical Victorian Main Street area and the unique frog jumping history of nearby Valley City, there’s always something interesting to do. For a day trip, we suggest:

  • Downtown Medina is home to a historic, restored Victorian Main Street, featuring shops, dining and events.
  • The Valley City Frog Jump Festival has was founded in 1962. The festival features vendors, music and entertainment for all ages, as well as the famous frog jumping competition itself. If you don’t have a frog, you can rent one!
  • Coyahoga Valley National Park is just a few minutes northeast of Medina. The park offers a refuge for plants and wildlife, including bald eagles. There are deep forests, rolling hills, hiking trails and a wetland, as well as Brandywine Falls, Everett Covered Bridge and the Ritchie Ledges.
